Action photography is a lot of fun, but capturing heart-stopping shots of moving subjects can be intimidatingly difficult.

Action photography captures subjects in motion, requiring techniques like using a fast shutter speed to freeze motion, burst mode to increase the chance of getting the perfect moment, and panning to keep the subject sharp while blurring the background. Other key aspects include anticipating the action, focusing in advance on a pre-selected point, and understanding how to use both high-speed blur to freeze movement and motion blur to emphasize it.
