Check your current lens to see it can do MACRO - there a lot of lens that a dual purpose. In other words - you don;t need a specific MACRO lens to do macro photography. But still feeling lost - we'll set up a session ot check your 'lens' to see wahat you already have available.
Macro photography is extreme close-up photography, usually of very small subjects and living organisms like insects, in which the size of the subject in the photograph is greater than life size.
Don’t go out to buy a macro lens as you might already have it!!

And ... I'd hate to say it, but consider trying out a cell phone maco lens (under $20) - they are prestty surprising...
